An outreach assistant is an administrative support person who works with the outreach team to create awareness and visibility of SubKulture to selected stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the implementation of an outreach strategy by creating a good rapport with a chosen audience and educating them about the outreach program.
Outreach assistants are communications and marketing specialists who support the marketing activities and public relations campaigns, including training and supervising volunteers.
About the Role
Recommends, contributes to, and assists with the creation of project work plans and reports within established deadlines.
Assists with planning, implementation, and evaluation of outreach activities and community engagement efforts.
Assists with development strategy and make recommendations for continuous project quality.
Assists with coordination of partners and provide educational training and outreach materials as needed.
Assists with the development of promotional materials and helps to implement programmatic campaigns.
Assists with the development of project plans and programs consistent with SubKulture and partner organization policies.
Attends events when appropriate (may include evening/weekend hours) and assist with event preparation, staffing, and evaluation.
Assists in the maintenance of proper forms, files, and reports.
Assists with the task to gather, analyze, evaluate, track event information.
Helps maintain and further develop relationships with those that live, work, do business, and play in Okanogan County.
High School Diploma or GED and two years of experience performing community outreach or customer service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
