
Position Summary
The Research Department at SubKulture focuses on market, tech, and policy research in state and local government, education, healthcare, and entertainment industries.
Our research projects enable our clients to be more effective and successful partners to the public sector and to their community's underserved populations.
About the Role
Responsible for the full lifecycle of research projects including project development and design, implementation, data collection, analysis, and presentation/delivery as well as client communications and other project management responsibilities
Managing multiple project timelines and competing deadlines
Coordinating with senior advisors and other internal partners to develop research goals, projects, and deliverables
Conducting background research for various projects and other internal/external requests
Translating client goals, objectives, and priorities into measurable research questions
Leveraging data to produce actionable business insights for our clients
Interacting with executive-level public and private sector individuals
Mentoring junior researchers and delegating tasks (if applicable)
Regular participation in team meetings, professional development, and industry events such as conferences and teleconferences
Requirements
AA degree required; undergraduate and/or advanced degree desired
Experience analyzing and visualizing data
Ability to communicate research and results effectively to a non-technical audience
Survey software experience preferred (e.g. SurveyGizmo)
Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Adobe InCopy, SurveyGizmo, Salesforce, HTML, CSS, SQL, Tableau, R experience is a plus
Experience conducting interviews with executives and subject matter experts preferred
Well trained in research methodology and ethics
